Had a wonderful time showing my work at Dwelling Spaces. Met a lot of wonderful people and ate a lot of delicious cookies! It was such a great experience to see how everyone interacted with my art work.

Threw together a quick preview for Roadie Reality. It’s pretty damn wonderful.
After a year of dreaming about creating an action short, 4 months of martial arts training, and one fun night of shooting. I finally have an action project under my belt!
I had so much fun working on this project! I can’t wait to get started on the next one.
George Salisbury and I got to travel with and document The Flaming Lips road crew. We caught some pretty amazing moments. I edited together a preview of what could be a wonderful reality show or documentary.
This is a concept Tate James and I came up with for Broncho. I did all the visual FX for this video. Probably my favorite video to have worked on so far.
Presenting The Flaming Lips light and audio phase illusion toy. The Strobotrip! The toy includes a user controlled strobe light, 24 animation discs, and a USB stick containing The Flaming Lips 6 hour song!
I created 14 of the 24 disc designs included with the toy. I had a lot of fun working on this project. There were many challenges with this one. The animation had to be created in a short amount of frames. So to find a way to create multiple entertaining and trippy animations was very difficult. After doing a bit of geometry, and a lot of trial and error, I discovered some patterns within the small disc’s space that made the animation a lot easier. I am really happy with the designs we chose.
Michelle Martin-Coyne, Daniel Huffman and Dylan Bradway also contributed to the design of the discs. The designs they came up with are very cool!!
If you are wondering how to get your own Srobotrip, it might be a bit difficult right now. There are a few at Dwelling Spaces in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Also, Wayne Coyne has been personally delivering this limited supply of toys to record stores. So keep a look out for him! Maybe he’ll be in your hometown next!!
The Art Show happened and it was a great success! All the artists in the show had great work to share. The music was lovely and the drinks did the job. Thanks again to everyone who made it out to the show! And a special thanks to my buddy Phillip Bjorklund (the cool dude in the picture above). Thanks to the beautiful Cassandra Ketrick (@CassCakey) for taking the picture.
